Ahmed Al-Shamlan.. Biography of a fighter and the history of a homeland
By: Fawzia Matar
This book records, in an objective way, the militant biography of the Bahraini national fighter, Ahmed Al-Shamlan, who dedicated his life to the country and the cause. It is a biography that records at the same time the history of the national movement and its political forces in Bahrain, and touches on stations from the history of the national movement over five decades. It also sheds light on the reality of the national power organizations and their internal relations and factors of weakness and strength, and deals with the reality of prisons in Bahrain and the conditions of political detainees during the period that extended since the era of British protection before independence when the first arrest of Al-Shamlan took place.
