From Bahrain to Exile

The book presents the experience of Bahraini people during the fifties of the last century. The author talked about the role of the National Union Committee of which he was the main figure. It was an alliance that embraced most of the people of Bahrain, Shia and Sunni. He outlined its objectives as a reformist movement that struggled against the British colonialists. He gave a first-hand account of what happened at the end when the khalifis joined hands with the colonialists to crush the popular movement.
