The author gives an account of the sieges and house arrests imposed by the khalifi regime on Sheikh Abdul Amir Al Jamri during the uprising of the nineties (1994-2000). The aim was to prevent him from meeting the people and restricting his political activism in opposing the khalifi dictatorship. The author also gives glimpses of the life of Sheikh Al Jamri prior to the uprising.
