Events in Bahrain took an exponential path both in volume and severity, compared to 2014 and 2015. The situation was dominated by the news of resistance, executions, security coordination between the regime on one hand and the Americans and the British, the detention of scholars and women, the economic downturn, increased taxation and the khalifi normalisation with the Zionists.
